Back in September, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a The Path Workshop by D’Arcy Benincosa at the Four Seasons Resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Path Workshops are high end, editorial workshops designed to fuel your imagination, foster your creativity and encourage collaboration between creative professionals. It was such a treat to capture these photographs; so evocative of a dreamy, destination wedding.
Four Seasons Chiang Mai Wedding Photography
My passion for adventure fuels my life and my business. It has also taken me to places all over the world like Bosnia, Mongolia and even Honduras. So, an opportunity to take part in this branding workshop in Thailand was amazing! Did someone say adventure? This branding shoot in Thailand was something right out of an exotic dream. The air itself was heavy with humidity, and the foliage was lush, green and tropical. Since I’m mainly an Arizona wedding photographer, this was a big change! The backdrops provided by the Four Seasons Chiang Mai did not disappoint. Nestled among emerald green rice fields and the exotic beauty of Thailand, there was inspiration around every corner.
D’Arcy Benincosa is an avid traveler and business coach. She hosts her Path Workshops in Paris, Morocco, and other parts of the world. Our model, Pim Bubear, was a Thai model who is up and coming in the industry. She was also our model for the Harper’s Bazaar and Chanel shoot which is featured later in the gallery.
The concept and design of the shoot was envisioned by Joy Proctor, a Harper’s Bazaar Top wedding planner featured in The Ruffled Blog, Style me Pretty, Once Wed, Reverie Magazine, Wedding Sparrow, Green Wedding Shoes, Magnolia Rouge, Grey Likes Weddings, and many more! Her designs were absolutely amazing. She is such a great person to work with and shooting her designs was incredible.
We got so much time to spend with the models in between each set up. As we changed from one setting to the next, I had a unique opportunity to unwind, recharge and enjoy the magnificence that is Thailand. I am so thankful for this unique opportunity. I love close-ups and getting to work with Pim and the bouquet are definitely some of my favorite shots.
Adventurous Destination Wedding Photography
Of course, this inspirational workshop also re-invigorated my never-ending wanderlust. I am always looking for couples who love adventures as much as I do. If you’re a fun, daring, adventure-seeking couple who wants to go all out on your wedding day, please make sure to contact me! I would love the opportunity to provide your destination wedding photography.
