I am so happy for these awesome newlyweds! Their wedding was a perfect representation of the deep sense of faith that they both share and their joy was a blessing to watch unfold throughout their wedding day!! I am so excited to share their story through their wedding pictures from The Wright House in Phoenix, AZ.

There is nothing like the desert in the Fall!! It’s been four sweet years of getting to see this family grow, and be a part of the joy of of their family life through their family photos! From the very first moment of my welcome hug from Evelyn, this session warmed my heart! Somehow, taking family pictures keeps hope alive in me as I watch families stay strong, being themselves, and having fun!!
The Wnenta family, however, holds a special place in my heart, and always will!! Greg and I knew each other waaayyy back when we were both still living in New York and then we attended the same college, Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ but we never did bump into one another until we became friends on Facebook, and now I have the awesome privilege of being their family photographer!
I wish we were a little closer, and my girls would definitely want to babysit these little cuties, but it is still pretty awesome that they come out all this way to the East Valley of Phoenix to take pics with me:):) Aren’t they just adorable??!!
Engagement Session- Oak Creek, Sedona
I’m falling in love with Jessica and Daniel’s Sedona engagement session!
Apple orchards and Sedona red rock complemented this cute couple’s stylized session! You can tell Daniel just adores Jessica, those loving looks and sweet nuzzles, paint a true picture of their love together! It was a fun evening spent getting to know this two a little better and creating a story that is uniquely their own!
Wedding Photos at Papago Park
I’m super excited to share these amazing images of Tess and Zach at Papago Park! When I first moved to Arizona, I missed all the green of home – I kept looking for places, as a photographer, that weren’t so “deserty”! I have learned to appreciate, and literally fall in love with the desert light and pastel colors – for wedding photography, it’s the ultimate! So soft and romantic, it also provides a minimally distracted background that automatically makes subjects pop and allows for interest too! But you know me, I can go on and on about photography LOL!
Zach and Tess were our models for this stylized shoot! They married on October 18th, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri after meeting in the Army. Tess claims, while Zach was “super cute”, she wanted to be treated just like one of the boys – eventually he won her heart, and they married! They are in Arizona for military training, Zach is training to be a helicopter pilot, and because they never got the photos they wanted that reflected their unique love story, this stylized session allowed them to retell their day the way they wanted! I know many of us who got married a little further back, 20 years for me, would love to go back in time and redo our wedding photos. I may not fit in my dress anymore, but to have an album of Ryan and I, that reflects our personal story, and this gorgeous desert backdrop at Papago Park, would be a treasure!

Phoenix Wedding Photographer
Brad and Amy flew from Washington to Arizona to see the Cubs play ball and to get married! There were so many surprises carefully planned for each other throughout the ceremony and evening! Amy made pennants that had the lyrics of their wedding song, the officiant yelled “play ball” at the start of the ceremony, and Brad had on baseball cuff links! It was these little extra touches that made Brad and Amy’s wedding their own unique and special day celebrating their love for one another! Each moment was carefully planned, they were able to enjoy their guests, have lots of laughs (we did too!) and look lovingly into each other’s eyes! I love how their wedding photos reflect their adoration for one another! Amy’s infectious laugh and Brad’s kindness and clear love for Amy made this wedding so joyful and genuine! The pastels at sunset were beautiful and the desert was blooming, such a gorgeous evening to be married and shoot pictures! Ryan and I always consider it an honor to be a part of a couple’s wedding day, it fills our hearts with remembrance of our love as we watch other couples exchanging vows and walk down the aisle together, all of these special moments tie together a moment in time that is a lifelong memory!
