Phoenix Wedding Photographer

April 1, 2016 by Jennifer Sutton

Brad and Amy flew from Washington to Arizona to see the Cubs play ball and to get married! There were so many surprises carefully planned for each other throughout the ceremony and evening! Amy made pennants that had the lyrics of their wedding song, the officiant yelled “play ball” at the start of the ceremony, and Brad had on baseball cuff links! It was these little extra touches that made Brad and Amy’s wedding their own unique and special day celebrating their love for one another! Each moment was carefully planned, they were able to enjoy their guests, have lots of laughs (we did too!) and look lovingly into each other’s eyes! I love how their wedding photos reflect their adoration for one another! Amy’s infectious laugh and Brad’s kindness and clear love for Amy made this wedding so joyful and genuine!  The pastels at sunset were beautiful and the desert was blooming, such a gorgeous evening to be married and shoot pictures! Ryan and I always consider it an honor to be a part of a couple’s wedding day, it fills our hearts with remembrance of our love as we watch other couples exchanging vows and walk down the aisle together, all of these special moments tie together a moment in time that is a lifelong memory!

Teresa and Anthony’s wedding day unfolded into a beautiful ceremony and fun for all! Here are some of their very special wedding photography moments!

Teresa and Anthony found their true love a couple of years back! I will never forget how Teresa was glowing when she was telling our group of friends about this great guy she met, we were all so happy for her and couldn’t wait to meet Anthony! As we watched this relationship blossom into joy and love, we all knew their wedding day would be soon!

As the months went on, the preparations began. When I went over to their home for the consultation, both Teresa and Anthony were in gardening clothes planting more beauty in their backyard and pulling out overgrowth in anticipation for their backyard wedding. Over many months of preparations, we loved hearing about the details Teresa and Anthony were putting  into their day, together as a team. We loved hearing about how it was slowly transforming into a holiday theme with twinkling lights, poinsettias, and evergreen roping and how the spirit of the Holidays would be both indoors and outside.

The Big Day came, the setting was warm, intimate, even cozy! Family and close friends of the bride and groom were all in attendance. Teresa and Anthony involved many of them in the wedding festivities, singing, performing the ceremony, decorating, and food. Both Ryan and I had the awesome honor to capture their wedding photography! We were overjoyed that they asked Simply Sage to provide their wedding pictures, it always expands our capacity to love, warms our hearts and renews our hope when we get an opportunity to take wedding photos!

The blessing of the day has past, the photos, the joy and the love they have for each other will continue to last forever!

Wishing this cute couple, all that life has to offer, and many years together! xoxo

I still have no words, and that saddens me. There’s so much I want to say, but I can’t get it all out of my chest... We are going through some major birthing pains, and in the unrest change will come. My hope in all of this is that we can come together in our humanity with greater compassion, love and service to one another. This is always my prayer. 🙏🏼 I feel blessed that my business has allowed me to connect with people of all cultures, I have had the opportunity to go overseas many times and document their stories over the last 30 years. I am also blessed to have many clients of many different nationalities and networking groups that allow me to interact and get the chance to learn and discover people stories. But it will never be enough. There’s so much pain in the world and in America it’s an illusion to think that there isn’t... Having traveled to only Third World countries, until recently, when you see how most people live, it brings to light what life is truly about... love, compassion and above all else, H O P E! Let us be in solidarity with all people and band together in this, loving our neighbor as ourself. I am overwhelmed, but in my feed and amongst the people I choose to surround myself with, I see nothing but love, let us all rise up! Really seeing and sitting with each other’s pain is the first step! *This is graphic made with a stock photo
